Mit Cloud Synchronisieren
Your Skippertools data can be synchronized to the Cloud. The data is thus saved and Skippertools can be used on different devices.
The feature is not released yet.
Show Console
By activating this option the App shows information from its execution. This is used for support cases.
Units
Choose your favourite units and formats.
The settings can be changed at any time.
Trips
Default Trip Duration
Define the default duration of your trips. Upon adding a new trip the to date will be calculated automatically.
Crew
Default Crew Role
The default Crew Role is used while editing a Crew List. New members of the crew are created using the default role.
Default Crew
The permanent crew will be automatically added upon creating a new trip.
Logbook
Use GPS Distance
Instead of using the Log device you can calculate the distance from the GPS coordinates.
Optional Fields
By changing the settings for optional fields such as temperature, driftage etc. the number of entry fields of the logbook can be extended or reduced.
Automated Logentry
Upon successful check of values, an automated Logbook Entry will be created at 23:59.
Polar Diagram
You can automatically establish the Polar Diagram for your Sailing Vessel.
Start Date
You can define a start date from when the polar diagram will be established
Location Services
Location Source
To automatically get your current position you can use the location services of your device or the NMEA interface. The NMEA interface requires an appropriate interface for your onboard electronics.
NMEA Connection
TCP Adress und Port Number have to be set according Manual of the NMEA Interface.
Timeout defines the time upon the which a connection attempt will be aborted.
Pulse defines in what frequente new data will be read via NMEA.
Calculate True Wind and Driftage
True wind and driftage can be automatically calculated.
Activate Modules
Activate Maintenance
By acitvating the Maintenance, a Symbol Button will appear in the Logbook. Thus the functionality can be called up.

Upon completion of a maintenance entry, this value will be filled in automatically.
Cashbook
Activate Cashbook
By acitvating the Cashbook, a Symbol Button will appear in the Logbook. Thus the functionality can be called up.
Cashbook per Trip
The Cashbook can be used for the active trip or overall. The setting controls how the Cashbook is displayed on calling it up.
Inside the Cashbook you can switch between the two options.
